The slide is made from a combination of aluminum and steel with a set of co-witness height iron sights that provide a clear sight picture through an optic. Additionally, the slide is cut to use FN's Low-Profile Optics Mounting System which allows for the attachment of a wide variety of popular reflex sights when paired with the correct mounting plate (plates not included). Outstanding ergonomics allow for a comfortable shooting experience, and with ambidextrous controls the FN 502 is ideally suited for right and left handed shooters alike. The FN 502 MRD is also compatible with most FN 509 Tactical holsters, making it an excellent and affordable training tool for anybody who owns an FN 509.
