The DDM4 V7 Pistol is built around a 10.3 inch barrel made from chrome moly vanadium steel, cold hammer forged with a 1:7 twist and a Government profile. The barrel is chrome lined, finished with a mil-spec heavy phosphate coating, and has been HP and MPI tested for reliability. 

A low profile gas block, CNC machined from 4140 hardened steel with a matching heavy phosphate coating, runs a carbine length direct impingement gas system. The pistol ships with a Daniel Defense flash suppressor made from 17-4 PH stainless steel with a salt bath nitride finish, and the muzzle threads at 1/2 x 28 TPI for compatibility with a wide range of muzzle devices and suppressors.

Ergonomics and Handling

The DDM4 V7P uses an independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle that accommodates both left and right handed shooters, with a body CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and handles and latch machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, secured with heavy duty stainless steel roll pins.
