The included optic plates support mini red dot optics from EOTech, Trijicon, Crimson Trace, and many other manufacturers, and a fixed plate is also included to cover the slide cut for shooters who prefer to run the pistol without an optic. Interchangeable backstraps allow shooters to customize the grip to their hand size, while aggressive slide serrations improve purchase when racking the slide, whether hands are dry, wet, or gloved. 

The ambidextrous slide stop and reversible magazine release make the pistol equally accessible for left and right handed shooters. A low bore axis helps manage muzzle flip, contributing to faster recovery between shots and more consistent follow up accuracy.
